Cherry Fullam Art Review
Fairborn, Ohio, local Cherry Fullam’s display at Dayton’s Side Show made my heart go pitter patter.
Featuring and blackened heart, a stained glass heart, a heart seemingly locked away in bands of iron, and the much beloved and recognizable video game heart container, the pieces were made of varying three-dimensional media. It’s the kind of series that works well because each work is cohesive and fits well and easily into the grander scheme of the project but is itself unique and different from its costars. Like a collector’s series, each heart had something to offer alone, but was perfected and complete as part of the collection.
I would love to see more exhibits by this artist.
